Just over a decade ago, I was given an exceptional body of work to read and review for The Punk Archive; the book was called Hawaiian Shirts in The Electric Chair by Scott Laudati. That review turned into a friendship with a Poet that I respect so much. The manner in which Scott writes has always hooked me; he weaves a narrative that is filled with honesty no matter how beautiful or ugly. I have not yet read Rainbow Road; however, I am 100% certain it is a kick-ass book. Scott’s work is not foreign to me at all; I have pretty much all of his books in one medium or another.
