I honestly do not think that I have ever laughed so much when discussing death and the impact it has on our lives. This follow-up interview with Alicia Cook was a long time coming. This woman houses so much tenacity in her being; between the advocacy work, teaching, and writing poetry, it is inspiring to see that through her adversity, she has not given up or soured. She digs her heels in and continues. I highly suggest checking out her poetry if you have not already done so.
