Pandora crept
where Narcissus knelt
near the reflection pool

Legend says years ago,
maybe decades
or a millenia

Narcissus & Pandora
were lovers
he promised everything
to Pandora.

Earth, Fire, Water, Air

Vows to never abandon
seeds of rooted pledges
a pact of phrases which sear the brain
in the core of the hippocampus
where dizziness reigns over
enforced inauthenticity

Pandora did not understand
why or even how Narcissus
was able to make these promises
"a man of my word"

He said "I promise, to do things
differently with you;
I will not abandon you."

Pandora defended herself.

Narsissus could no longer think,
absent breath
from the moment he decided to attempt
a different pathway for Pandora
utter wreckages ensued

It all fell apart, with the last letter
in Narcissus' hand over amplified
the fact that he was a man of his word
and he no longer wishes to accept
any correspondence

Pandora enters with a maniacal laugh
stage, left, thought it so comical

She recalls: "I'm mad of my word."
lingered on each syll-a-ble
for a very long time
the length of a chapter,
(not a thin pencileque section
a heavy weighted piece of flesh
chapter to make Shakespear proud)

and realised,
he didn't
even know or comprehend
the rationale of those specific
chain of w-o-r-d-s
sequentially
s.x.t.x.i.x.t.x.c.x.h.x.e.x.d.x together
"a man of my word"

Fast forward
Pandora placed those expressions
in a box marninated in raw emotion

Once though Narsissus worthy
who transformed into a flower
a tiny floret cut by the Queen of Hearts

Extinguish life as a result
of not absence to adorattion
