I said: “I love you!”
I said: “I cannot go through
what happened last time.”
I said: “Do not to toss me away
— AGAIN!”
I said: “I missed us.”
I said: “I regret you!” (I lied)

The lie was complicated
came from my lips, oozed
like warm honey
from one of my favourite recipes

One’s word, defined as broken
many times, in some instances
words are kept and in other’s
crumble to Earth

Lies forged, lovers lost
severed ties burned
to ash allowed to die

Propensity for maudlin emotion
comes from anyone regardless
of good or evil
a lover maimed

A witch with such venom
and so horribly a secret oath
it’s not an unfamiliar tale

“I will have my revenge,
bla, bla bla…”

Perhaps not a good idea to mock
although thematically vengeance
houses timeless faculties
magical manifestations

On one quiet snowy afternoon
a witch entered Pandora’s home
with a desire to cause
an endless ache

A lover,
she was never
able to sustain
taken with passionate arms
left for an expressionless death
wanted the attention of this man
unemotional bad boy
who lines women
on the side of a bar
like bourbon shots and partakes
at super speed that would shame
the flash
at his fastest
