Forged internal doubts 
  where numerous universal signs     
      coexist peacefully
  chimaeras with the potentiality
      to be exposed
  overthought 
       under appreciated 
   weighted 
      with a “heart shaped noose
            (Awakening Autumn, 2023).”

  understand, long fingers 
      grasp at my collar bone 
  Grim Reaper, oh I forgot 
     to mention the fingers 
          are not fleshy   
   skeletal dry bone 
       slightly discoloured 

 Against my static throat 
    a slight pressure 
   a blade always seems 
        to be present 

(No, I don’t need blades 
    and a map to my veins!)

A little more pressure 
    half life lived 
 balance of sorrow 
   with a MASSIVE dash of mirth 

     A world should never reside 
  in a gauntlet of fire 
    broken promises 
 thoughts persist
     why value exists 
  in not being one of the many 
      cookie cutter mundanes 
    to allow their souls to drag 
        lack lustre black hole

       devastation 
    is the a foreign element 
   paired with bursts of joy 
 Ie: to appreciate a 95% 
      strongly requires 
  the slice of a 58% on a final 
 offers perspective 

    Reality blurs in the style 
 of a water colour on canvas 
    attempts at things different 
       offers a fortified core 
    that is beyond 
        confident and unafraid 
     perhaps a grasshopper 
          can manifest beyond 
               limitation
